Ecology.
In
Portugal
, this species was only recorded from two macrohabitat categories, with most of the specimens collected at a site featuring a mosaic of cattle pastures, riparian corridors and brackish wetlands, with trees and bushes bordering the fields and the riparian corridor. In northwestern Europe, this species is mostly found in very humid biotopes, ranging from brackish marshlands and meadows to swamps (
Pollet 2000
).
