DISTRIBUTION. — Widespread throughout the Indo- West Pacific and both sides of the Atlantic; 77-2055 m ( Galil 2000 ). REMARKS As in specimens from Taiwan and Australia ( Ahyong & Chan 2004 ), the present specimens of P. typhlops all have distinctly granulate abdominal tergites. The present specimens of P. typhlops represent the first records of the species from the Solomon Islands , Fiji and Tonga .
