Remarks . This black species is large, with a wing length of 2.5–2.9 mm and a black fringe on the calypter, r-m is at the midpoint of discal cell, and the ultimate section of CuA1 is 1/2–3/4 as long as the penultimate section. The larva is known as a fruit-feeder of Ricinus sp. ( Euphorbiaceae ). Distribution . Indonesia (Java, Sumbawa, Flores ), Myanmar , Thailand (new record), Philippines , Taiwan ; Japan (Ryukyus).
