Spangler (1 ex., USNM). Distribution. Widespread in South America including Venezuela ( Anzoategui , Barinas, Bolivar , Falcon , Guarico ). Remarks. All known collecting events in Venezuela are from standing waters (ponds, lagoons, ditches) or light traps near such habitats.
