REMARKS
Risbec (1955)
established this name based on
30 ♀
and
15 ♂
as a variety of
Brasema leersiae
Risbec, 1956
. The latter name was made available only one year later (
Risbec 1956a
) and consequently the publication date of the
variety precedes
that of the species. Because it is a synonym of
Eupelmus australiensis
(Girault, 1913)
, establishing the correct usage of names and their priority is now irrelevant.
