The colonies are organised in a dense web of thread-like stolons, mixed with sponges and settled on rocks. The white opaque zooids are
6mm
in length with a red line encircling the base of each siphon (
Fig. 12A
). The lobes of the siphons have a white tip. This aspect is characteristic of the species. The gonads are not developed here but the anatomy is that described in Monniot & Monniot (2001). The geographic distribution of this species comprises
Indonesia
, the
Philippines
and the south western Indian Ocean at low depths.
