Bell and L.E. Martin, DNG 0 86 ( MNHN P2 ECT 106). The colonies are organised in a dense web of thread-like stolons, mixed with sponges and settled on rocks. The white opaque zooids are 6mm in length with a red line encircling the base of each siphon ( Fig. 12A ). The lobes of the siphons have a white tip. This aspect is characteristic of the species. The gonads are not developed here but the anatomy is that described in Monniot & Monniot (2001). The geographic distribution of this species comprises Indonesia , the Philippines and the south western Indian Ocean at low depths.
