Remarks.
Two specimens of
P. nigromaculatus
are deposited at ROM.
Pelophylax nigromaculatus
is distributed from southwestern
China
north to eastern
Russia
, and
Korea
and
Japan
(Wang
et al.
2016). There are no records of
P. nigromaculatus
being imported into
Singapore
for food; however, the possibility exists that the specimens were brought in as food or as pets.
