Diagnosis
. Members of
Nyetnops
can be distinguished from non-nopine genera by having tarsi subsegmented (
Figs 2A

5G, I, K
); and from other two-eyed nopine genera by lacking all three membranous modifications on anterior legs:
crista
,
gladius
and
arolium
(

A–B; 5H; 6A–B). In addition, males of
Nyetnops
can be distinguished from other nopine genera by having an extraordinary elongated copulatory bulb with limits between tegulum and embolus being discerned only by differences in the cuticle (
