ETYMOLOGY: The specific name is a noun in apposition taken from the type locality. DIAGNOSIS: Males resemble those of O. saltabunda by the presence of two conical projections on the internal margin of chelicerae, but in O. aragua these are strong, well separated (fig. 53C) rather than adjacent. The copulatory bulb is also different, in O. aragua the embolus is longer and the sperm duct takes a different course. MALE (PBI_OON 1684): Total length 1.00. CEPHALOTHORAX (fig. 53): Carapace orange, almost triangular in dorsal view (fig. 53A). Clypeus slightly curved downward in front view, vertical in lateral view (fig. 53C, D). Sternum wider than long. Chelicerae anterior face with basal conical projections, mesal margin with two strong projections, proximal larger than distal one. Labium elongated, hexagon. ABDOMEN: Pale white. GENITA- LIA: Bulb tapering apically; embolus with ventral rounded projection in retrolateral view; sperm duct coiled, with many loops (figs. 59A–C, 63G, H). FEMALE: Unknown. DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type locality in Venezuela ( Aragua , map 7). OTHER MATERIAL EXAMINED: None.
