Baja California ( Menzies 1962b ), Italy, Egypt, Spain, Cyprus, Turkey, Libya Pakistan (Arabian Sea); Cadiz Bay, Caleta Velez , Motril, Barbate (Spain), Australia ( Menzies 1962b ; Ulman et al. 2017 ; Martinez-Laiz et al. 2018 ).
