Identification.
Pothos mirabilis
is endemic to
Sabah
and is unique from its flower, its enormously elongated and twisted pendent spathe.
Pothos mirabilis
is allied to
Pothos volans
P.C.Boyce
& A.Hay and
Pothos wallichii
Hook.
f. due
to its inflorescences are mostly produced from the tips of leafy shoots and this together with the long slender peduncle (
Boyce 2000
).
Distribution and ecology.
Endemic to
Sabah
. Lowland forest on yellow sandy loam,
20–300 m
elev.
