Taylor’s (1965)
diagnosis and description of Thai specimens in having 19 dorsal scale rows; the single internasal not touching the loreal; dark olive above with three outer dorsal scale rows yellow; and a yellow venter.
All specimens were collected at night in temporary rain pools and buffalo wallows within the village. Daltry & Chenang (2000), Long et al. (2001), and Daltry & Traeholt (2003) reported this species from the central Cardamoms.
