The lectotype was designated from India (Gildenkov, 2013: 59). The species is known from the Oriental region: China (Fuzhou), India , Indonesia ( Sumatra , Java ), Malaysia (including Kalimantan), Nepal , Singapore , Sri Lanka , Thailand (our data). C. palitans is here reported for Nepal for the first time.
