Diagnosis.
Arenigena bajaensis
is similar to
A. marcida
in having the inner gonocoxal process (Fig. 66) narrow, elongate and the distiphallus (Fig. 70) thick basally and broadly curved posteroventrally. It differs from
A. marcida
in the male frons being setose, the male dorsal apodeme (Fig. 68) being slightly expanded laterally, and the female frons with white setae admixed with thicker dark brown setae dorsolaterally; and the furca (Fig. 71) with a broad anterior projection.

Habitats and Phenology.
Arenigena bajaensis
has been hand-netted on sand or collected at black and white lights. Adults have been collected from January through April, June through August, and October through November.
