Description
:—Leaves elliptical,
4.5–5 cm
long,
1.9–2.5 cm
wide, acute at both basis and apex, entire, long-petiolate (
6 mm
long); venation of 7 pairs of secondary veinlets leave the midrib at angles of 45–40, camptodrome, tertiary venation reticulate or percurrent in the inter-secondary spaces (after
Huzioka 1963
, modified).
Occurrence
:—Middle Miocene (Utto Formation); Eurasia (Japanese Archipelago).
