China ( Sichuan , Yunnan , Guangxi , Hainan , Taiwan , Hong Kong ); Thailand , Pakistan , India ( Yano, 1978 ). Remarks. This species is unique among all of the Sepedon species from China in lacking both orbital and scutellar setae. It is so different from other species of Sepedon that it might form the basis of a new genus if more supporting evidence accumulates in the future. This species occurs only in the south of China and apparently belongs to the Oriental fauna.
