Old world distribution, mainly distributed in the Oriental region, ( China , India , Nepal , Burma , Indonesia , Malaysia ), Japan , Korea , and Russia . Diagnosis. This genus belongs to the group of genera with the hind margin of the crown sinuate behind eyes and can be recognized by the following combination of characters: ocelli closer to adjacent eye than to each other; forewing claval veins connected by one or more cross veins; male pygofer lobe usually elongated, or with spinelike process or serrated hind margin; segment X usually weakly developed; aedeagus slender with well-developed dorsal apodeme and processes on dorsal apodeme, aedeagal shaft and preatrium ( Viraktamath 2011 ; Viraktamath et al . 2012 ).
