Remarks.
This species was described based on a single male from
Ecuador
(
Napo
) (
Bezark 2023
;
Monné 2023b
;
Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2022
). We have examined a second male with the following variations:
1. Pronotum with one large area on each side of middle with somewhat sparse brownish pubescence (slightly distinct, partially with yellowish pubescence in the
holotype
);
2. Dark pubescent macula on side of pronotum, near lateral tubercle of the prothorax wider than basal diameter of the antennomere III (about as wide as basal diameter of the antennomere III in the
holotype
);
3. Large yellowish-white pubescent macula on anterior half of elytra with two areas with sparse brownish pubescence interspersed (entirely yellowish-white in the
holotype
);
4. Inner apical apex of the large yellowish-white pubescent macula on anterior half of elytra distinctly not reaching suture (reaching suture in the
holotype
);
5. Tibia mostly dark brown, with some areas only slightly lighter (pro- and metatibiae orangish brown on basal 3/4 and mesotibiae orangish brown about basal half in the
holotype
).
