Description.
Head, antennae, scutellum, and legs black; pronotum yellowish with 3 black stripes; elytra with black anchor-shaped marking; black ventral markings variable. Head: vertex trisulcate; frontal carina straight; clypeus with irregular elevations. Antenna: antennomere 1 subglobose, twice length of 2; 2 transverse; 3–5 cylindrical, sulcate, 3–4 subequal in length, 5 shorter; 6–10 transverse, subequal in length; 11 pointed at apex; 1–7 punctate, glabrous; 8–11 setose. Pronotum: lateral margin bisinuate, converging to apex; anterior angle with tooth; basal impression distinct; surface punctate, punctures less visible on disc; microsculpture present between punctures, less visible in basal impression; pronotal length
1.1–1.3 mm
(n=20); pronotal width 1.9– 2.0 mm. Scutellum: subcordate; alutaceous. Elytron: lateral margin finely dentate basally, more strongly dentate apically; apical margin subrectangular, exterior apical angle with long spine; apical margin with small tooth, and tooth at end of costa 1; 10 rows of punctures, scutellar row absent; costae 1 and 2 united at apex; elytral length 6.7–8.0 mm; elytral width
2.7–2.9 mm
. Leg: femur and tibia punctate; protibia of male with large tooth, metatibia enlarged apically. Total length: 8.0–10.0 mm.
Remarks.
This species can be distinguished by the elytra without a scutellar row and with costae 1 and 2 united near the apex; the vertex of the head is trisulcate; antennomere 1 is subglobose while 2 is transverse; and the lateral margin of the pronotum is bisinuate.
