. Antennal scape long, more than twice as long as apically wide. Clypeus not separated from face, forming uniformly convex surface, lower edge of clypeus usually convex or truncate, labrum hidden. Mandibles small and tapered, with lower tooth reduced, not overlapping when closed. Malar space with or without subocular sulcus. Fore wing with areolet present or absent, when present, pentagonal or petiolate. Hind wing with discoidella (abscissa of vein
