Remarks: This species was based on a single specimen from Texas without specified collecting method. While its aedeagus is distinctive, the elytral punctation considered by Löbl & Stephan (1993) as diagnostic, is too variable and dissection of aedeagus is required to confirm its species identity. The examined specimens are 1.52-1.68 mm long, somewhat smaller than the holotype .
