Etymology.
The specific name refers to the dagger-shaped conductor of the male palp, “adaga” in Portuguese. It is to be treated as a noun in apposition.
Diagnosis.
Males of this species can be recognized by the dagger shaped male palp conductor in dorsal view (
Fig. 69C
), being similar to the conductor found in
C. peluda
sp. nov.
, however in the last the tip is considerably narrower as in
C. adaga
sp. nov.
(
Fig. 89G
). Females resembles those of
C. pauferro
sp. nov.
and
C. punctata
sp. nov.
by the shape of the internal genitalia; can be distinguished from the first by the longer anterior stalk at the internal genitalia (
Figs 72H
,
88H
) and from the last by the smooth sternum with pits only at hairs basis while in
C. punctata
sp. nov.
the sternum is finely and densely punctuated (
Figs 70D, E
;
72F
;
93D, F
).
