Etymology.
The specific name refers to the
type
locality. It is to be treated as a noun in apposition.
Diagnosis.
The species resembles
C. orellana
sp. nov.
. Males of the species can be distinguished from the first by the longer, narrower embolar prolateral process with dorsal translucent area restricted to the base (
Figs 110H
,
111D
), rather than in
C. orellana
sp. nov.
were the dorsal translucent area of the embolar prolateral process is prest along the whole length of the process ((
Figs 106F
;
108E, G
). Females can be distinguished from
C. orellana
sp. nov.
by the internal genitalia with less forward protrudingr anterior sclerotized wall area, not extending in front of the lateral apodemes tip (
Fig. 112H
).
Description. Male
(
PBI
_OON 25610). Total length: 1.10. CEPHALOTHORAX:
Carapace
pale orange, broadly oval in dorsal view, pars cephalica slightly elevated in lateral view, surface of elevated portion of pars cephalica smooth, sides smooth; lateral margin without denticles.
Clypeus
curved downwards in front view, low, ALE separated from edge of carapace by less than their radius, slightly less than ALE radius.
Eyes
relatively large, all subequal; ALE separated by their radius to diameter, PLE-PME separated by less than PME radius.
Sternum
pale orange, fused to carapace, furrow smooth, surface smooth, microsculpture absent, anterior margin with continuous transverse groove, posterior margin not extending posteriorly of coxae IV, groove at anterior margin shallow; setae originating from surface.
Mouthparts:
Chelicerae, endites and labium pale orange. Chelicerae anterior face unmodified, with basal brush on inner margin; retromargin without teeth; fangs without tooth-like projections; paturon inner margin with short inter-digitating setae, laminate groove absent. Labium anterior margin indented at middle. Endites anteromedian part forming a groove between serrula and the apical portion. ABDOMEN: pointed posteriorly; dorsum soft portions pale white. Book lung covers slightly elevated. Pedicel scuto-pedicel region with straight scutal ridge, plumose setae absent, ridge weak and downcurved. Dorsal scutum pale orange, middle surface smooth, sides smooth. Epigastric scutum: anterior spiracles secondary openings at level of epigastric furrow in an indent. Postepigastric scutum pale orange, long, semicircular, fused to epigastric scutum, without posteriorly directed lateral apodemes. Spinneret scutum narrow. Dorsum setae sparse
Distribution.
LEGS: pale orange. GENI- TALIA: Epigastric region with sperm pore oval, situated in front of anterior spiracles, rebordered. Palp proximal segments pale orange. Conductor flattened laterally, with short and curved dorso-distal tip; embolar tip a translucent tube, embolar distal process lamellar; embolar prolateral process narrow, with very narrow translucent dorsal area, restricted mainly to the distal tip (
Figs 110H
,
111A
̅D).
Female
(
PBI
_OON 25624). As in male except as noted. Total length: 1.44. GENITALIA: internal genitalia lateral apodemes curved, narrowing towards distal end, anterior area subquadrate, globular appendix large, protuding; receptaculum rounded (
Fig. 112H
).
