Identification.
Our males of
L. recurvus
can be recognized
by the presence of a rounded gibbosity on the venter of abdominal segment VIII, in addition to a posterior curved spine-like projection. Both males and females have the mesopleuron brown with a lighter stripe of variable size (

).
