India : Kerala (new record); Uttar Pradesh. FIGURES 1, 2. Oligosita angustipennis Yousuf & Shafee , female: 1, antenna, Kerala specimen; 2, fore wing, Kerala specimen. Comments. The original description of this species was based on a single female. The holotype is on two slides, one slide with one antenna and fore wing under a large coverslip, and the rest of the body (head partly damaged; mesosoma and metasoma somewhat crushed) on another slide under a small coverslip. This species appears to be very similar to O. macrothoracica Lin (1994) , but differs from the latter in having the fore wing with different setation ( Fig. 2 ) and about 4× as long as broad, and the clava about 3.6× as long as broad. In O . macrothoracica the fore wing is 3× as long as broad and the clava 4.6× as long as broad.
