FIGURES 49–52. Bebelis spp. 49) B. obliquata Breuning, 1940 , holotype, dorsal habitus (by Jesus Santiago Moure). 50–51) B. inaequalis (Fisher, 1947) , holotype male: 50) Dorsal habitus; 51) Ventral habitus. 52) B. aurulenta ( Belon, 1903 ) , syntype, dorsal habitus (by Jesus Santiago Moure). Bebelis obliquata was described based on a single specimen ( Fig. 49 ) from Brazil ( Minas Gerais ). Formally , the species remains known only by the holotype . Later , Fisher (1947a) described B. inaequalis ( Figs 50–51 ) based on a single specimen from Paraguay , and the species remains known only by the holotype . Comparison of the holotype of B. inaequalis ( Figs 50–51 ) with the original description and photograph of the holotype of B. obliquata ( Fig. 49 ) allowed concluding that they belong to the same species. Accordingly, B. inaequalis is synonymized with B. obliquata . Material examined. PARAGUAY , holotype , F. Schade leg., no more data ( MZSP ) .
