Wings entirely transparent. 1mt/2–5mt 5 0.80. MALE: Unknown. Paramblynotus formosanus is easily separated from all other species of the punctulatus clade in that the female antenna is 12- segmented. In addition, the lower face of P. formosanus is densely punctate with sparse foveae, in contrast to the usual, mainly foveate-reticulate pattern of the punctulatus group. MATERIAL EXAMINED: 1♀ .
