Simulium ( Gomphostilbia ) aziruni Takaoka, Hashim & Chen, 2012 Simulium ( Gomphostilbia ) aziruni Takaoka et al ., 2012: 810 –812 (Pupa and larva). This species was described from a pupa and a larva ( Takaoka et al ., 2012c ). The female and male remain unknown. This species is characterized by the pupal gill composed of an inflated horn-like structure and eight slender filaments. The pupal exuviae were collected from a small stream in a palm oil plantation in Jerantut, Pahang and the mature larva from a small stream in Janda Baik , Pahang .
