Endemic. Galápagos: Isabela,
San Cristóbal
, Santa Cruz, Santiago (ICCDRS).
Remarks.
The larvae are often found in wet moss at the entrance of caves, inside of which the adults are commonly collected. Specimens have been collected on the sea surface and in aerial nets between islands (
Peck 1994a
, b). Larvae were collected from the freshwater lake, El Junco (
Gerecke
et al
. 1995
).
