), all presumably caught in flight. Permanent mounts are lodged in
NMNH
on loan from the
New
York
State Museum. This species differs from the only known congener, the
Eucalyptus
- galling
Eocincticornia malarskii
Kolesik,
1995
in the male genitalia: the teeth on the gonostylus are blunt in
E. australasiae
and acute in
E. malarskii
.
