Body ( Fig. 5 ) elongate, dark brown, with labrum, mandibles, coxae and two basal antennal segments reddish yellow; the remaining antennal segments, maxillary palpi and legs except for coxae yellow. Head suborbicular, slightly longer than broad (length/width = 1.07); postocular portion 1.66 times as long as eye length; on disc intervals between punctures flat, not raised like carinae. Antennae slender, relative length of segment 1 to 7 (segment 8 to 11 absent): 39.0: 13.0: 27.0: 20.0: 19.0: 19.0: 18.5; relative width of segment 1 to 7 (segment 8 to 11 absent): 11.5: 7.5: 6.0: 6.0: 6.0: 6.0: 5.5. Pronotum convex and oval, longer than wide (length/width = 1.22), narrower (pronotum/head = 0.83) and shorter (pronotum/head =0.94) than head; prosternum with strong longitudinal median carina not reaching its anterior margin. Elytra slightly shorter than wide (length/width = 0.99), distinctly shorter (elytra/pronotum = 0.83) and slightly wider (elytra/pronotum = 1.02) than pronotum. Abdomen with fine and faint microsculpture only on apical 1/3 of 7th segment. Male . Seventh sternite ( Fig. 33 ) slightly concave in middle of posterior margin; 8th sternite ( Fig. 34 ) shallowly and triangularly excised in middle of posterior margin. Female . Unknown. Remarks. The present new species can be easily distinguished from all the known species of Nazeris by the particular shape of the median lobe of aedeagus which is in dorsal view distinctly widened in apical 1/3 and provided with a pair of triangular outward processes near middle ( Fig. 35 ). Distribution. China (Zhejiang Prov.). Etymology. The species is named in honor of Mr. SHEN Shan-Jia, who collected some Nazeris specimens used in this study.
