Thompson (1988)
revalidated

and considered
C. concinna
as a junior synonym of
C. longirostre
. This is one of the most common species of the genus, primarily associated with coastal flowering from the Coastal Desert province (
Morrone 2014
) and Mediterranean basin of Central
Chile
. This species has been observed visiting flowers of
