Conicera digitalis Liu et Zhang ( Figs. 23D–H ) Conicera digitalis Liu et Zhang, 2009 , in Zhang and Liu, 2009: 472 . Description. Male. Body length 1.3–1.5mm . Frons dark brown. Supra-antennal setae present. Lower interfrontal setae shorter than upper interfrontal setae and the distance between each other a little shorter than that between upper interfrontal setae. Lower fronto-orbital setae very short, 1/3 length of upper fronto-orbital setae. First flagellomere dark brown, 0.16 mm long, with an aspect ratio of 1.83:1; arista 0.41 mm long, 2.28 times length of first flagellomere. Palpus dark brown, with 7 short setae apically. Thorax dark brown. Mid and hind legs dark brown, fore leg light brown. Fore tibia with 11 small near-dorsal setulae, the uppermost being longer than the rest. Mid femur without sense-organ. Wing length 1.38 mm . Costal index 0.38, costal ratio 2.4:1, costal setulae length 0.055 –0.060 mm . Rs with basisetula. Halter brown. Abdominal tergites dark brown. Terminalia ( Figs. 23D–F ) dark brown. Left surstylus ( Figs. 23E, G ) slender and long, with 7 inner teeth arranged in a row. Right surstylus ( Figs. 23F, H ) oval, with a long, finger-like basidorsal process, and 8 long and pointed inner teeth arranged in a row. FIGURES 23A–H. Male terminalia. A–C. China ( Xinjiang , Qinghai ). Remarks. In the key of Michailovskaya (2000) , the species runs out to couplets 8, to C. schnittmanni Schmitz,1926 and C. floricola Schmitz, 1938 . It can be distinguished from C. schnittmanni Schmitz by a long, finger-like basidorsal process and long and pointed inner teeth of right surstylus. It differs from C. floricola Schmitz by only eight long and pointed inner teeth of right surstylus.
