Eubaeocera curtula : Löbl, 1969: 340 . Diagnosis. Antennomere XI about 1.4 times as long as III. Elytral punctuation sparse and fine. Lateral portion of metaventrite sparsely and finely punctuate. Parameres symmetrical and apically enlarged; inner sac with a large sclerite. Distal gonocoxite normal and wide. Redescription. Body elongate-oval, shining. Head, pronotum and elytra black; frons, labrum, tibiae and femora reddish-brown; maxillary palpi, tarsi and antennomeres III–VIII yellowish-brown; antennomere I and II reddish-brown to yellowish-brown; antennomeres IX–XI dark yellowish-brown. Head, pronotum and elytra sparsely and finely pubescent. Head with interocular distance about twice as eye width. Punctuation sparse and fine. Antennomeres I–VI with a few macrosetae, VII–XI covered with some macrosetae; III about as long as each segments of I, II, IV–VII, IX and X; XI about 1.4 times as long as III (Fig. 29). Pronotum wider than long, lateral keel distinct except near basal angles. Punctuation sparse and fine, as on head. Scutellum wider than long, with exposed apex. Elytra longer than wide, widest at basal fourth, lateral margins gradually narrowed apically, minutely serrate at inner part of posterior margin. Elytra sparsely and finely punctuate. Sutural striae extending outwards along basal margin to form complete basal stria joined to lateral striae. Propygidium and pygidium sparsely and finely punctuate; pygidium weakly concave at middle portion of apex, with 2 macrosetae. Hypomeron impunctate. Mesoventrite sparsely and finely punctuate, as pronotum. Lateral portion of metaventrite sparsely and finely punctuate. Mesepimeron about twice as long as wide. Mesocoxa almost twice as wide as interspace between mesocoxa; mesocoxal line with row of long basal wrinkles; mesocoxal area narrow. Metepimeron almost as long as wide. Metacoxa about twice as wide as metacoxal process. Metanepisternum about third as long as wide. Ventrite I sparsely and finely punctuate, with 4 macrosetae; V with 6 macrosetae, sparsely and finely punctuate, and concave at middle portion of apex. Meso- and metafemora with microsculpture, sparsely and coarsely punctuate. Male. Aedeagus about 0.7 mm long; parameres symmetrical and enlarged in apical portion; inner sac with a large sclerite ( Fig. 67 ). Female. Distal gonocoxite normal and robust (Fig. 54); vagina membranous, without robust sclerites; bursa copulatrix not sclerotized. Measurements (n = 8). Length (PL+EL): 1.96–2.23 mm ; width (PW, EW): 0.96–1.16 mm , 1.04–1.27 mm . PL/PW: 0.74–0.82; EL/EW: 0.84–1.15. HW: 0.43–0.49 mm . ID: 0.21–0.24 mm . Approximate ratio of each antennal length (width) as follows (n = 1); 1.1 (0.7): 1.0 (0.6): 1.0 (0.3): 1.0 (0.3): 1.1 (0.2): 1.0 (0.2): 1.1 (0.3): 0.8 (0.3): 1.1 (0.5): 1.0 (0.6): 1.4 (0.6).
