Xyleborus bispinus Nobuchi, 1981 : 147 . Xyleborus kumanoensis Nobuchi, 1985 : 25 (unnecessary new name for X. bispinus Nobuchi, 1981 nec Schedl, 1979). Taxonomy: The holotype of Xyleborus bispinus was not available for study, but photos were examined ( NIAES 2018 ). The species is transferred to Cyclorhipidion Hagedorn, 1912 because of the following characters: most of body covered with dense pubescence and very abundant minute punctures, pronotum and elytra rounded, with no conspicuous edges or carinas, pronotum type 2 (viewed dorsally), antennal club type 3, visible scutellum and lack of mycangial tufts.
