–17 (Female, male, pupa and larva).
This species was described from females, males, pupae and larvae (
Takaoka
et al
., 2014a
). It is characterized in the female by the narrow frons (frons:head ratio 1.0:7.1), in the male by the broad style and ventral plate much produced ventrally (both characters not seen in any of nine known species of the subgroup), and in the pupa by the gill with eight slender filaments arranged as 3+3+2 from dorsal to ventral.
This species was collected in lowland streams of the mainland of Peninsular Malaysia.
