Holotype female, Kemantis stream, Sayap, Mt Kinabalu, Borneo, Malaysia , 6º 0 9.841 N 116º 33.936 E , alt. 928 m asl, 16-ix-2012 ( RMNH ). Diagnosis . A small species. Suture lines of coxae obliterated. Posterior extension of fourth coxae relatively long. Description . Female: Colour pale yellow, idiosoma subrectangular in shape, membranous integument papillate with a reticulate pattern, 397 long and 286 wide. Dorsal shield 382 long and 251 wide, with a reticulated pattern; slightly indented anterior to the middle, on the level of the only glandulare located in the dorsal furrow with three pairs of glandularia, a pair of postocularia and two pairs of setae without glandularia. Transverse suture lines Cx-I/II, -II/III and III/IV laterally and medially obliterated only visible as short bars. Cx-IV with a posterolateral extension (length 46) embracing a glandularium. Genital field 40 long and 42 wide. Length/height of P1–P5: 22/14, 30/24, 28/20, 44/18 , 26/10. Length of I-leg-4–6: 60, 64, 66. Length of IV-leg-4–6: 70, 80, 58. Male : Unknown. Etymology . Named for the obliterated suture lines of the coxae. Remarks . Coxal suture lines Cx-I/II, Cx-II/III and Cx-III/IV obliterated to such a degree are not found in any of the known Ljania species. Distribution. Borneo; known only from the locus typicus.
