The majority of tylenchids are edaphobionts inhabiting various terrestrial biotopes, but there are species occurring in the aquatic environment as well ( Andrássy 2007 ; Bert & Borgonie 2006 ). Remarks. Several genera of this family have been found in Vietnam ( Nguyen & Nguyen 2005 ; Nguyen 2007 ). 127. * Filenchus orientalis Xie & Feng, 1996 {57} (0, 0, 8, 0; 1 ) Population structure and abundance. Two females and one male (~ 1x10 3/m2). Ecology and distribution. Likely an edaphobiont. Phytoparasite. Recorded in China and Iran in plant rhizosphere soil ( Azimi et al. 2016 ). First record for Vietnam .
