Radial corallites tubular, evenly sized or mixed sizes; coenosteum reticulate, simple spinules, variation depends on the degree of calcification of the colonies ( Wallace, 1999 ). Most of the recent species occur exclusively subtidally ( Wallace, 1999 ). Only A. grandis is represented in the fossil record of Indonesia .
