CHINA : Yunnan : 4 females (SWU, 3 in 100% alcohol), Jizushan Town [鸡足山镇], Binchuan County [宾川县], Dali City , 2000m , found around a fruit tree, beneath the mud, 20.II.2016 , Jian-Yue Qiu & Hao Xu leg. Remarks. This unknown species superficially resembles the large individuals of E. yunnanensis by the coloration in females, but can be easily distinguished by its ootheca, the serrations of the ootheca are distinct, formed elongate and straight, apex blunt ( Fig. 38 H, P ), while serrations reduced in E. yunnanensis ( Fig. 38 J, R ). The identity of the species needs to be confirmed by examining additional male materials.
