( Figs. 4A , 8A–C , 11D, 11E , 16A, 16B , 32 ) Diagnosis. This species is most similar to L . forcipula sp. nov. in having the pleura with a brown, longitudinal stripe above ( Figs. 7F , 8C ), the wing entirely hyaline ( Figs. 3E , 4A ), the colour patterns of abdominal tergites in females ( Figs. 10H , 11E ), and the shape and pubescence of epandrium, cercus, and surstylus ( Figs. 28A , 32A ), but can be distinguished from the latter in having the postocellar distinct ( Fig. 8A ); aedeagus straight, ventrolaterally with a long, apicodorsally acute process ( Fig. 32D ). FIGURE 32. Leucophenga hyaloptera Huang & Chen , sp. nov. , male terminalia in lateral view. A. Epandrium, surstylus, and cercus; B. Hypandrium, paramere, gonopods, and aedeagus; C. Paramere; D. Aedeagus. Scale bars = 0.1 mm. Description. Ocellar triangle brownish yellow, with ca. 1 or 2 seta(e) above ocellar setae. Frons brownish yellow ( Fig. 8A ). Pedicel brownish yellow; first flagellomere yellow ( Fig. 8A ). Clypeus entirely brownish yellow. Palpus dark yellow ( Fig. 8A ). Mesonotum mostly brownish yellow ( Fig. 8B ). Postpronotal lobe yellow ( Fig. 8C ). Acrostichal setulae in ca. 12–14 irregular rows ( Fig. 8B ). Scutellum mostly brownish yellow, dark yellow at tip ( Fig. 8B ). Katepisternum mostly dark yellow ( Fig. 8C ). Mesopleuron yellow, brownish posteriorly ( Fig. 8C ). Wing ( Fig. 4A ): Costal vein between R 2+3 and R 4+5 distally with ca. 4–6 peg-like spinules on ventral surface; R 4+5 and M 1 nearly parallel distally; halter mostly yellowish, with a brown patch at knob ( Fig. 8C ). Abdominal tergites dark brown, 2nd tergite yellow medially and laterally, 3rd tergite mostly yellowish except for lateral region, only setigerous laterally in males ( Fig. 11D ), 3rd tergite yellow submedially and sublaterally in females ( Fig. 11E ), 4th and 5th tergites with yellow patches submedially and sublaterally. Male terminalia: Epandrium with ca. 7 setae near posterior margin and ventral corner per side ( Fig. 32A ). Hypandrium with 1 sensillum ( Fig. 32B ). Paramere expanded basally and rounded apically, with ca. 3 sensilla medially and ca. 5 ones distally ( Fig. 32C ). Aedeagus rectangular apically ( Fig. 32D ). Measurements and indices.
