Diagnosis.

capillosus
is distinct among other Oriental representatives of the genus by the following set of characters: antennal segment I comparatively short; segment II somewhat thickened; pronotal calli relatively weakly developed; scutellum entirely fuscous, somewhat convex; thoracic pleura (except for proepimeron) with sparse and fine punctures; hemelytron with whitish patch apically; endosoma with a few sclerites.
Most similar to
B

yakushima
in having the sparse punctation on metepisternum. This species can, however, be distinguished by having the rostrum reaching, but not extending procoxae.
