Plant bugs of the tribe Bothriomirini (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Miridae: Cylapinae) from the Oriental Region: descriptions of eight new species and keys to Oriental genera and species of Bothriomiris Kirkaldy, Dashymenia Poppius, and Dashymeniella Poppius Author Wolski, Andrzej Author Gorczyca, Jacek text Zootaxa 2012 3412 1 41 journal article 10.5281/zenodo.214715 4eb4d325-9c9f-423d-b231-99d88173627a 1175-5326 214715 Bothriomiris capillosus Yasunaga Bothriomiris capillosus Yasunaga 2000 : 185 , 203, Figs. 80–81 [sp. nov.] Bothriomiris capillosus : Gorczyca 2006: 10 [catalog]; Yasunaga & Miyamoto 2006 : 722 –723, Figs. 1 A, B, 2A, F, 3A–C, 4A, B [diagnosis, male genitalia]. Diagnosis. B . capillosus is distinct among other Oriental representatives of the genus by the following set of characters: antennal segment I comparatively short; segment II somewhat thickened; pronotal calli relatively weakly developed; scutellum entirely fuscous, somewhat convex; thoracic pleura (except for proepimeron) with sparse and fine punctures; hemelytron with whitish patch apically; endosoma with a few sclerites. Most similar to B . yakushima in having the sparse punctation on metepisternum. This species can, however, be distinguished by having the rostrum reaching, but not extending procoxae. Distribution. Japan (Ryukyus: Iriomote Is.), Taiwan ( Yasunaga & Miyamoto 2006 ). Type material. Holotype Ƥ: Shirahama, Iriomote Is., Ryukyus, Japan , 7.vi.1998 , K. Takahashi (deposited in Hokkaido University of Education, Sapporo, Japan , not examined); paratype Ƥ: Fenchihu, 1.400 m , Nantow, Hsien, Taiwan , 7–8.vii.1965 , T. Nakane (deposited in the Department of Zoology, National Science Museum, Tokyo, Japan , not examined).
