Milne-Edwards, 1880 ) Munidopsis latifrons has previously been reported as Galathodes latifrons ( Baba et al. 2008 ) . Its reported range is from the Caribbean to the Gulf of Mexico in depths of 677 to 1107 m ( Milne-Edwards 1880 ; Chace 1942 ). Four specimens were available: two females (CW was 4.3 mm and 5.3 mm ) and two ovigerous females (CW was 4.0 mm and 4.6 mm ). All specimens came from the same locality off the Atlantic coast of Florida from 805 m in the month of May; eggs were neither counted nor measured.
