Females of S. monticola comb. n. resembles those of S. medialuna by having an atrial hood not projected ( Figs 5D , 8D ), but are readily recognized by having lower posterior plates and higher atrium ( Fig. 8D ). Description . Male unknown. Female described by Bryant (1948) . Remarks . Collection efforts at the type and nearby localities, looking for new specimens, were unsuccessful. Vegetation in the type locality comprises a mixture of broadleaf and pine forest. Distribution . Know only from the type locality ( Fig. 9 ).
