Flowering time: —May–August. Habitat: —Rocky and stony slopes, roadsides, calcareous slopes. 800‒2500 m elevation. Distribution: —Endemic. Irano-Turanian element. Note : Scrophularia libanotica is found on almost every rocky place in Turkey . However, it has many varieties. It has been observed that even during the fruiting period there are a few flowers. These flowers have lighter colors than those during the flowering time. If this condition is overlooked, it may lead to faulty diagnosis. So, S. libanotica must be collected in flowering time and flowers color must be recorded during field work.
