Central and South Europe (for details see REGALIN & MEDVEDEV 2010b ). Comments. Coptocephala tetradyma var. subobliterata was described from two localities: Abondance and Sonnay. We found the male from Abondance in Pic ̓ s collection but the deposition of specimen(s) from Sonnay is unknown to us. The aedeagus of the only known syntype of var. subobliterata perfectly matches that of C. rubicunda thus we conħrm the synonymy of both taxa.
