CHN25.iv.2011 , S07 ( 5 m ): a colony originally growing on a crab carapace; numerous stems, with and without gonophores, were subsequently removed from their substrate; several newlyreleased medusae were also obtained (MHNG-INVE-79602). The polyp stage was previously recorded from the Strait of Magellan ( Jäderholm 1917 , Vervoort 1972 ); the present record is from Chaihuin.
