Material: SYNTYPES , 6 w (damaged) ( CASENT0917114 ) (Box 28). Notes . Emery (1925b) described B. kusnezovi based on two workers collected by N. Kuznezov in the Dauny-tau mountains ( Kazakhstan ). However , in Karawajew’s collection we found six more workers which undoubtedly belong to the nest series of B. kusnezovi (see label data above). This is confirmed by Karawajew’s original labels, where he denoted them as “ typus ”. Based on Recommendation 72B of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature (ICZN 1999), we conclude these specimens are part of the type series.
