General distribution and hosts. Species widely distributed in Europe, also known from Azerbaijan , Armenia , Georgia , Iran , Iraq , Israel , Jordan , Turkey (Asian part); collected on numerous plants including Achillea sp. , Centaurea sp. , Heteropappus sp. ( Linnavuori 2007 , 2010) and Mirabilis julapa , sometimes found in cotton field ( Ghahari et al. 2011 ).
