Praeaulacidae
The fossil family
Praeaulacidae
currently comprises two subfamilies:
Cretocleistogastrinae
from the Lower Cretaceous of
East Asia
and
Australia
,
Praeaulacinae
from the Middle Jurassic of northeastern
China
and Late Jurassic of south Kazakhstan (
Li

). A total of 33 fossil species within ten genera from
China
are recognized as valid (Li & Shih 2014;
